What is Battle of the Books?

Battle of the Books is an annual event among local elementary schools where teams of 12 students (representing their school) compete by answering questions about a selected group of books they've read throughout the year.  Students read each book independently, then meet as a team every few weeks to discuss each book.

Who can participate?

Due to our large student population, only 5th graders are eligible for BoB at OCE currently. Since this is our inaugural year, team members were selected based on teacher recommendations. 

When do we meet?

BoB meets every other Friday starting 7/20 in the Media Center from 8:00-8:30 (to accommodate Safety Patrol).
